Established in 2019
I’m Wes. I run Wedding Venues ES, a friendly planning and coordination team based in Marbella, and we do one thing: help couples find the right venue in Spain and get them married there without the stress.
We started in 2019. Within a few months the entire industry shut down, which is not the launch anyone plans for, but it taught us something that has shaped how we work ever since. When everything is uncertain, what couples need isn’t grand promises. It’s someone reliable, honest and on the ground, who knows the venues personally and will tell you the truth about them. That’s the business we built and it’s the one we still run.
Since then we’ve planned and coordinated more than 80 weddings across Spain, from intimate villa celebrations to full-scale finca weddings. Every one taught us something about a venue, a supplier or a stretch of coast, and that first-hand knowledge is what we bring to your day. We don’t recommend venues from a brochure. We recommend the ones we’ve stood in, worked at, and would happily send a friend to.

What we take off your hands
Most of our couples are planning from another country, often in a language they don’t speak, around Spanish suppliers and paperwork they’ve never had to deal with. That’s the hard part, and it’s exactly the part we handle.
We source venues to match your style, guest numbers and budget. We tour them with you, in person or virtually. We handle the suppliers, the timeline, the legal side and the hundred small details, and on the day itself we run everything quietly in the background so you can actually be present at your own wedding.

Honestly, it comes down to trust. We’re a small Marbella-based team, so you deal with real people who know the area rather than a call centre. We’re straight with you, including when the honest answer is “not that venue” or “not that month”. And because we live and work here, we can be at your wedding rather than on the end of an email.
We’d rather plan fewer weddings properly than churn through as many as possible, and we think it shows on the day.

How long have you been planning weddings in Spain?
Since 2020. In that time we’ve planned and coordinated over 80 weddings across Spain, from intimate villa celebrations to large finca weddings. Every one adds to what we know about the venues, suppliers and regions we recommend. You can see the kind of work we do across our venue collection.
Where are you based, and where do you work?
We’re based in Marbella and plan weddings across the whole of Spain. We’re strongest along the Costa del Sol and across Andalucía, since it’s on our doorstep, but we also plan in the Balearic Islands, Barcelona and beyond. Being locally based means we can be at your wedding, not just on the end of an email.
Do we have to use you for the whole wedding, or just part of it?
Whatever suits you. Some couples hand over everything, from venue sourcing through full planning to on-the-day coordination. Others just want us to find the venue, or to run the day they’ve planned themselves. You can use as much or as little of our help as you need.
How much do your services cost?
Our pricing is transparent and depends on how much support you want. Availability checks start at €75, venue sourcing from €180, and planning is charged at €75 an hour. You’ll find the full breakdown, including our all-inclusive wedding packages, on our pricing page.
How far in advance should we book an Andalucía wedding venue?
Yes, and most of our couples are. We act as your team on the ground, handling communication with Spanish venues and suppliers, arranging virtual tours and tastings, and keeping you updated so you can make confident decisions without flying over repeatedly.
