It starts with a conversation about what you are imagining and what you actually need, style, guest numbers, budget, the parts of Spain you are drawn to, and anything you are not willing to compromise on.
From there we research and shortlist venues that fit, whether that is a rustic finca, a coastal villa, a historic estate or a city hotel. We arrange visits, in person or by live video call if you cannot travel out, and we work through the practical side of each one with you: capacity, catering rules, accommodation, permits, noise restrictions and what the wet-weather plan really amounts to.
Once you have chosen, we deal with the venue directly, in Spanish, on dates, holds, deposit terms and contracts. Most Spanish venues want a deposit within a defined window, and knowing that figure and that deadline before you commit emotionally to a place is worth a great deal. – We will also tell you which venues we would steer you away from, and why.

We are independent, and we take no commission from venues. That means we earn the same whichever one you choose, so when we tell you a venue is wrong for you, that is simply what we think.
It is worth asking anyone who recommends a venue whether they are paid by it. A good number of sites in this market are, and it never appears on your invoice, which is precisely why the shortlist keeps featuring the same few places.
There are two ways couples come to us, and they need different things.
If you already have a venue in mind and only want to know whether your date is free, we will contact them, confirm availability and explain exactly what it takes to hold it. The first enquiry is €75 and each additional venue is €50, which suits comparing a shortlist without spending a fortnight chasing replies.
If you have not chosen yet, we will build a shortlist around your style, guest numbers, budget and preferred area, with honest notes on each: real capacity, noise curfews, supplier rules and what happens if it rains. Sourcing is €180 for the first venue and €100 for each additional one. Tours are €100 per visit, in person or by live video call if you cannot travel.
Prices do not include IVA (21%). Travel surcharges may apply outside our standard radius, and we will tell you before you commit, not afterwards.

You have found somewhere you like and you need to know whether your date is free. That is a simpler question than it sounds, and it is one of the more frustrating things to do from another country.
We contact the venue directly, in Spanish, and come back to you with a straight answer: whether your date is available, what the nearest alternatives are if it is not, and exactly what the venue needs in order to hold it for you. That last part matters, because holds in Spain are rarely informal. Most venues will want a deposit within a defined window, and knowing the figure and the deadline before you commit emotionally to a place is worth a great deal.
It works well for a shortlist. Sending three or four enquiries at once gives you a clear picture of which venues are actually open on your date within a few days, rather than a fortnight of unanswered emails and time-zone gaps. Plenty of couples find their first choice is gone and their second is free, which is a much easier decision to make with both answers in front of you at the same time.

Common Questions
Why pay for this when we can contact the venue ourselves?
You absolutely can, and some couples do it perfectly well. What you’re paying for isn’t access. It’s what happens after the first email.
The first quote is rarely the real number. Venues quote what you asked for, not what you’ll actually need. Missing from most first quotes: IVA at 21%, staffing beyond a set hour, mobile kitchen hire where there’s no kitchen, corkage, minimum spends, and the coaches you’ll need if guests can’t walk home. We know what’s missing because we’ve read hundreds of these, and we ask for it up front rather than discovering it in month seven.
You don’t know what’s negotiable. A venue quoting €8,000 for a Saturday in June has no reason to move. The same venue on a Thursday in October has a great deal of room. Knowing which dates, which lines and which venues have flexibility is the difference between paying the asking price and not.
Language does more than you’d think. Most venues here will answer you in English, politely and slowly. The detail lives in Spanish: the contract clauses, the licensing position, the conversation with the events manager who mentions there’s another wedding that day. When we ring, we get a different conversation than you will, and we get it the same week rather than the next.
And venues answer us faster. Not because we’re special, but because we’re a repeat source of business and they know the enquiry is serious. A couple emailing from the UK for a date eighteen months out sits in a queue. That’s not unfair, it’s just how a small events team prioritises.
Then there’s the risk. If a venue goes quiet, changes terms, or something falls through six weeks out, that’s a phone call for us and a very long evening for you.
The honest version. If you have time, patience, some Spanish, and you’re enjoying the process, contact them yourself. Our venue pages are free to browse and we’re not holding anything back.

What do your services cost?

What that actually buys. For €180 we shortlist venues that genuinely fit your date, guest numbers and budget, contact them in Spanish to confirm availability and terms, and come back with an honest assessment of each including the drawbacks. Additional venues are €100 because most of the groundwork is already done.
Tours are €100 per visit whether we walk it with you or film it for you. Most couples planning from abroad have us visit two or three on their behalf first, then come out once to see a shortlist rather than spending a week looking at places that were never going to work.
We take no commission from any venue. That’s the important part. Our fee is the same whether you book a €3,000 cortijo or a €30,000 estate, so a recommendation costs us nothing either way and we’re negotiating on your side of the table.
Compared with what? Venue hire in Spain runs from around €3,000 to €15,000 and a wedding from €25,000. Against that, €180 to get the right venue rather than the wrong one is the cheapest decision in the whole budget, and the one everything else depends on.
I've already found a venue, can you just check dates?
Yes, and that is a different and cheaper service. A venue availability check is €75 for the first venue and €50 for each one after.

Can you do a virtual tour if we can't travel to Spain?
Yes, and a good number of our couples book their venue this way.
How it works. We visit the venue in person on your behalf and walk it live on video, so you can direct us: show me the ceremony spot at six in the evening, show me where dinner would be, show me the indoor space if it rains. You ask questions in real time and we translate them to the venue manager on the spot. If the timing doesn’t work across your schedules, we film the whole thing and send it with our notes.
What you get afterwards. Photographs and video that aren’t the marketing ones, the real seated and covered capacities, the noise curfew in writing, what’s included and what isn’t, and an honest view of what we thought. Including, where relevant, that we don’t think it’s right for you.
What a virtual tour genuinely can’t give you. Scale, mainly. A room feels different in person and a video flattens distance. Also the drive, which matters more than couples expect: knowing a venue is forty minutes from your guests’ hotel is different from having sat in the car. And the small things you notice standing in a place that nobody thinks to film.
So what we’d suggest. Use virtual tours to do the filtering, which is where most of the value is, then come out once to see the final two or three. Most couples do exactly that and it works well. A three-day trip to see a shortlist we’ve already vetted is a much better use of a flight than a week looking at places that were never going to work.
If you genuinely can’t travel at all, plenty of couples have booked entirely remotely and had a wonderful day. We’d just want more from the venue in writing before you pay a deposit, and we’d be more cautious about anything with an unusual layout or a difficult wet-weather plan.

How many venues should I look at?
Most couples land somewhere between three and six on a shortlist, and see two or three in person.
Fewer than three and you have nothing to compare against, so you cannot tell whether a price is good or a restriction is normal. More than six and the decision usually gets harder rather than easier, because the venues start blurring together and the differences that matter get lost in the ones that do not.
What happens once I've chosen?
If you’d like us to continue as your wedding planner, we take it from there.
We negotiate on your behalf. Rates, dates, what’s included and what isn’t, deposit terms and the cancellation clauses. We know what’s movable and what isn’t, and we’ll push on the lines that matter rather than the ones that don’t.
We read the contract properly. In Spanish, which is where the detail lives. Minimum spends, IVA treatment, what happens if numbers change, who covers overrunning, and the noise curfew in writing rather than as a verbal assurance.
We arrange the payment schedule, but you pay the venue directly. Your money never passes through us. That keeps it simple, keeps you in control of your own contract, and means there’s no question about where anything sits.
Then we hold the timeline. Deposit dates, balance dates, final numbers deadlines, supplier confirmations. These are the things that quietly go wrong when you’re managing them from another country around a full-time job.
And we’re on site on the day, from set-up to the last dance, if you’d like on-day coordination as well.
If you’d rather take it from here yourself, that’s completely fine. The venue is yours, the contract is yours, and there’s no obligation to use us for anything beyond the sourcing. Plenty of couples book through us and plan the rest themselves.
What if none of the shortlist is right?
Then we go again, and you tell us what was wrong with them.
That is genuinely useful information, “too formal”, “the drive was too long”, “it felt like a hotel” narrows things faster than anything you can tell us at the start. It is quite common for the first round to be about discovering what you do not want.
Which parts of Spain do you cover?
Our base is Marbella, so the Costa del Sol is home ground, Marbella, Estepona, Sotogrande, Benalmádena, Mijas, Fuengirola and Torremolinos are all within our standard radius, as are Málaga and Ronda inland. Tours in these areas carry no travel surcharge.
Beyond Andalucía we regularly source in Mallorca, Ibiza, Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, Murcia, the Canary Islands and Gibraltar. Sourcing works exactly the same way in these regions, the research, the shortlist, the honest notes on each venue, and tours are done by live video call at the standard €100. In-person tours in these areas are possible but carry a travel surcharge, which we will quote before you commit to anything.
If you are not sure which region suits you, that is a reasonable thing not to know at the start. Guest travel, budget and the kind of day you want tend to narrow it quickly, and it is one of the first things we work through with you.
How far in advance should we start?
Around 18 months is the sweet spot, and the venue is the thing to lock down first.
Almost every other decision follows from it, your date, your realistic guest number, your catering options and often your budget shape. Starting the venue search about a year and a half out means you get a genuine choice rather than whatever is left, and it gives you enough time to visit properly instead of deciding from photographs.
That matters most if you want a Saturday in peak season on the Costa del Sol. The best venues take those dates first and they go a long way ahead. If you are flexible on the day of the week, or happy with May, June or September rather than high summer, you can start later and still do well, and you will usually pay less.
Later than 18 months is not a problem, and we work with couples on much shorter timelines all the time. It simply means the shortlist is shaped by what is available as much as by what you want, so it helps to know early which of the two you would rather compromise on.
