If you would rather have one number than an hourly rate, our packages bundle the essentials together: ceremony and celebrant, catering and drinks, florals and styling, photography, a DJ, and full planning with on-the-day coordination. Videography, live music and a cake can be added.
Which route is cheaper depends on how much you have already sorted. If you want the whole thing handled, a package is usually better value and far fewer decisions. If you have your photographer booked and only need parts of it, €75 an hour will cost you less. Step 1: Your free consultation. Let's have a coffee and a chat
We start with a no-obligation chat by phone, video call or email, whichever suits you. You tell us your ideas, the areas you’re drawn to, rough guest numbers and budget, and we ask the questions that shape everything else. You’ll come away with a shortlist of venues and suppliers matched to what you actually want. There’s no fee for this stage and no pressure to go ahead.
Step 2: Venue, suppliers and the legal paperwork
Once you’ve confirmed your venue, we book your core suppliers, caterer, photographer, florist, musicians and any specialists you need, while at the same time gathering the documentation for your Spanish civil or symbolic ceremony. We deal directly with the venue, the officiant and the Spanish authorities on your behalf, handling every conversation in both English and Spanish so nothing gets lost in translation.
Step 3 : On-the-day coordination and wrap-up
In the run-up, your wedding coordinator will build a detailed run-of-day schedule and share it with every supplier so everyone knows exactly where to be and when. We then meet you in person during your wedding week to finalise the details and make sure you’re completely happy. After the wedding, we handle the loose ends: supplier sign-offs, returning any hired items and closing off the admin, so your celebration ends as smoothly as it began.

For couples having a Catholic or civil wedding, we guide you through the requirements and liaise directly with the local town hall, church or officials so nothing falls through the cracks. We also help you make the ceremony your own, with custom rituals or vows you’ve written yourselves.
We can sort accommodation for you and your guests too, whether that’s rooms on-site or nearby hotels and villas. And since many couples want to make a few days of it, we’ll happily plan welcome drinks, a day-after brunch or a relaxed pre-wedding get-together so everyone gets proper time together in Spain.

Ideal for: couples who have started planning, are enjoying it, and want an experienced pair of hands for the parts that have stalled or the details that matter most.
What we do
Venue support. You have usually chosen your venue by this point, so we pick up the parts that follow: reading the contract properly before you sign, dealing with the venue directly in Spanish, and making sure you know what is actually required of you and by when.
Supplier sourcing. You have probably booked the big ones already. We fill the gaps, whether that is a florist, a lighting company or a band, and we recommend people we have worked alongside rather than names off a list.
Supplier coordination. In the final six to twelve months we take over the conversations, so you stop being the middleman. We confirm every supplier, keep everyone working from the same timeline, and handle the last-minute problems, including on the day itself.

What we do
Venue sourcing. We build a shortlist around your style, guest numbers, budget and region, then tell you honestly what each one is like, including the drawbacks. We tour them with you, in person or by video call, handle the negotiation and read the contract before you commit to anything.
Supplier sourcing. We introduce you to people we have worked with and trust: photographers, florists, caterers, celebrants, entertainment, hair and make-up, transport. Every one is familiar with local venues and international couples, which matters more than it sounds when something needs solving at nine on a Saturday morning.
Supplier coordination. We become the single point of contact from the first booking to the last invoice. Contracts, schedules, deliverables and the awkward conversations all come to us, in Spanish, so nobody is ringing you with questions.

Tips for Planning a Wedding in Spain
Planning a wedding in a country you don’t live in is mostly a series of small decisions that each look simple and aren’t. Here’s what actually saves couples time, money and stress, whether you plan it yourself or hand it to us.
Sort the venue and the date together, before anything else. Almost every other decision follows from these two, and in Spain they’re more entangled than couples expect. The venue you love may only have the date you don’t, and the best dates on peak-season Saturdays go a year or more ahead. Fix these first and the rest of the plan has something to build on. Chase the pretty details first and you’ll redo them.
Budget in the currency you’ll actually pay in. Spanish suppliers quote in euros, and the exchange rate you get when the deposit leaves your account is not the one you budgeted with months earlier. Build in a margin for that, and remember most quotes are before IVA at 21%, which is the single most common budgeting shock we see. A figure that looks comfortable in a spreadsheet can land very differently on the invoice.
Understand the legal side early, because it shapes your date. Marrying legally in Spain is genuinely involved for non-residents, so most couples handle the legal paperwork at home and hold the ceremony they care about here. That’s a decision worth making early rather than late, because it affects your timeline and occasionally your venue. It’s the thing couples most often discover too far into planning.
Book the suppliers who can only do one wedding a day, first. A venue holds one wedding; so does a photographer, a celebrant, a band. The genuinely good ones on the Costa del Sol are often gone twelve months out. Once your date’s fixed, the sought-after suppliers are the next thing to lock, not the last. Décor and stationery can wait; a photographer you love cannot.
Ask every venue how it actually operates, not just what it looks like. All-inclusive or dry hire, approved-supplier list or bring-your-own, exclusive use or shared, licensed for a legal ceremony or not. Two beautiful venues an hour apart can run on completely different models, and it affects your budget and your workload far more than the view does. This is the question couples forget to ask until after they’ve signed.
Plan the day around your guests, not just the photos. Think about the drive from the airport, where people will stay, the heat at 4pm in August, and how far they’ll travel between ceremony and reception. A venue that’s stunning but two hours from anywhere quietly thins your guest list. The best days are the ones that are easy for the people in them.
Leave room for the things you can’t plan. A supplier drops out, a heatwave arrives, a delivery goes missing. Build a little slack into the timeline and the budget so the unexpected is an inconvenience rather than a crisis. Every wedding has one thing go sideways; the planned-for ones absorb it and nobody notices.

Understanding what wedding planning costs is a big part of building a realistic plan, so I’d rather be straightforward about ours than make you fill in a form to find out.
Destination weddings vary enormously in size, complexity and style, so a single fixed fee never made much sense to me. Instead we charge a simple €75 an hour. You can bring us in for a handful of specific tasks or hand over the whole thing, and you only pay for the help you actually use. We take no commission from venues or suppliers either, which means we earn exactly the same whichever ones you choose. That matters more than it might appear, because it is the reason we will happily tell you that a venue is wrong for you.
For couples who want everything handled, full planning generally works out from around €3,0000 upwards, rising for larger or more elaborate weddings. It usually begins twelve to eighteen months ahead and covers the lot: finding and touring venues, sourcing and managing suppliers, design and styling, budgeting, timelines and running the day itself. If you have already made a start and simply want the final stretch taken off you, partial planning does exactly that. And our standalone services, such as venue sourcing or on-the-day coordination, can be booked entirely on their own, so you build what you need without paying for anything you do not.
What moves the number is mostly how much of it you want us doing. A couple who has chosen their venue, booked a photographer and just needs the last few months coordinating will use a fraction of the hours of a couple starting from a blank page. Guest numbers make a real difference too, not because a hundred people are harder to feed than fifty, but because everything scales with them: more suppliers, more transport, more accommodation to arrange, more moving parts on the day.
The venue itself matters more than couples expect. An all-inclusive hotel with its own coordinator needs far less from us than a dry hire finca, where you are effectively building a wedding on an empty site and every chair, glass and member of staff has to be arranged. Both are lovely ways to marry, but they are not the same amount of work. Location plays into it as well, since a venue twenty minutes from us is simpler to service than one on an island.
Then there is design. If you arrive with a clear picture and want us to execute it, that is quick. If you have three saved images and no idea how they fit together, which is genuinely more common and rather more fun, that takes longer. And finally, how long the planning runs and how much of the day you want covered, whether that is arriving for setup and leaving after the last dance, or something lighter.
If you tell me roughly where you are up to, what you are picturing and what you can spend, I will give you an honest estimate of the hours rather than a range wide enough to be meaningless.

The Perfect Wedding Timeline for your Spanish Wedding
A Spanish wedding is built around the sun. Rather than following a cooler-climate schedule, the day is paced around the heat and a Mediterranean approach to food and celebration: ceremonies are held later once the strongest sun has passed, cocktail hours run longer and more sociably, and dinner is an event in itself rather than a rushed course before the dancing. Get the timing right and everyone stays comfortable, your suppliers work to a sensible rhythm, and you’re never clock-watching. It suits destination weddings especially well, because your guests are effectively on holiday and expect that easier, later flow.
The timeline below is a summer wedding, when most Spanish weddings happen. It shifts with the season: for a spring or autumn wedding you might start an hour or so earlier, and a winter ceremony often begins around 1 to 2pm, since the light fades much sooner. Getting that timing right for your specific date and venue is one of the first things we help with, and we’ll build you a bespoke timeline around it.
A typical summer wedding timeline
09:00 – Morning preparations. Hair and make-up begin and the photographer arrives, with the day starting calmly and unrushed.
16:30 – Guest arrival and welcome drinks. Guests arrive to cold drinks and settle into shaded seating.
17:00 – Ceremony. The ceremony begins once the peak heat has passed and temperatures start to ease.
17:30 – Couple photographs and cocktail hour. Guests enjoy canapés and drinks while you have your photos taken, then you rejoin the party.
19:00 – Reception and seated dinner. A relaxed, multi-course meal, with speeches over dinner.
21:30 – Cake cutting and transition. The cake is cut and served, marking the shift from dinner to the evening celebration.

Will you be at our wedding, or will we be handed to someone else?
One of our planners leads your wedding, and you will know which one from the first call. Miriam, Vicky or Vivian will be your point of contact throughout, not just at the beginning, and it is the same person on the day.
That matters more than it sounds. A fair complaint about larger planning companies is that you are sold by one person, planned by another, and met on the day by a third who has never spoken to you. Details get lost at every handover, and by the wedding morning nobody in the room knows why you wanted the ceremony at that particular time.
Which of them you work with depends on your region, your date and the style of wedding you are after. We match rather than allocate, and if you would rather work with someone specific after reading about them, just say.
In the weeks before, your planner confirms every supplier, builds the run-of-day schedule and becomes the single point of contact so nobody is ringing you with questions. On the day they are first to arrive and last to leave, with additional coordinators depending on your guest numbers.

What's the difference between a wedding planner and an on-the-day coordinator?
A planner helps you make the decisions and organises everything over months. A wedding coordinator steps in near the end to run a wedding you’ve already planned yourself. Choose full planning if you want help building the day; choose coordination if it’s planned and you just want it run smoothly so you can relax.
How often will we hear from you, and how do we get hold of you?
As often as you need, and on whichever channel suits you. Most couples settle into WhatsApp for quick questions and scheduled video calls for the bigger decisions.
Time zones are less of an issue than people expect, since most of our couples are in the UK and Ireland and we are one hour ahead. If you are further afield we will fix call times that work for you rather than for us.
What matters more than frequency is that you are never waiting. We reply within one working day, and if something needs a decision from you we will say so clearly rather than burying it in a long email. You will also have a shared document showing what has been booked, what is outstanding and what is coming up, so you can check the state of things at midnight without asking anyone.
How much do wedding planners cost in Spain?
We charge a simple €75 per hour, so you only pay for the help you need. As a rough guide, partial planning tends to land around €1,100 to €5,300 and full planning from around €2,600 upward, depending on the size and complexity of your wedding. On-the-day coordination and standalone venue sourcing are also available separately.
How far in advance should we book a planner?
For full planning, 12 to 18 months before the wedding is ideal, as it gives you the best choice of venues and dates. For on-the-day coordination we usually start a few weeks out. That said, if your date is closer than that, get in touch anyway, we can often help on a shorter timeline.
Can you help if we're planning from abroad?
Yes, most of our couples are. We act as your local partner, managing communication with venues and suppliers in Spanish and keeping you updated with clear timelines. Video calls, virtual tours and tastings mean you can make confident decisions without flying over repeatedly, which saves both time and money.
Do you handle the money, or do we pay suppliers directly?
You pay suppliers directly. We never hold your wedding budget.
That is deliberate. It means every contract is between you and the supplier, every payment is traceable, and you can see exactly what everything costs rather than receiving one bundled invoice with a margin buried in it. We track the payment schedule, tell you what is due and when, and chase anything outstanding, but the money moves from you to them.
Some planners do hold funds and there are legitimate reasons for it, particularly with all-inclusive packages. If you are speaking to anyone who does, ask what protection you have if something goes wrong. It is a fair question and a good planner will not mind it.
We're working to a tight budget. Is a planner still worth it?
Often more so, though probably not full planning.
The logic that gets missed is that our fee is not competing with your flowers. It is competing with the money you would otherwise lose to a supplier you had no way of vetting, a venue whose extras you did not know to ask about, or a currency transfer that cost more than it needed to.
On a smaller budget, the sensible route is usually a few hours of paid advice at the start and on-the-day coordination at the end, leaving the middle to you. That typically costs a fraction of full planning and removes the two points where couples lose the most money and sleep.
If your budget genuinely will not stretch to either, tell us anyway. We would rather point you at the right venue for free than watch you book the wrong one.
Can you work with suppliers we've already booked?
Yes, and a good number of our couples come to us halfway through with several already in place.
We start by reading what you have signed. That usually turns up two or three things worth knowing early, such as a photographer whose hours finish before your first dance, or a caterer whose quote excludes staff. Better to find those a year out than a week out.
From there we take over the coordination, so everyone works from one timeline and you stop being the middleman. We will not push you to drop someone you have chosen. If we have a genuine concern about a supplier we will tell you plainly, once, and then get on with making it work.
